Frye-Pruett connection

Mary Anne Tombaugh married Martin G Pruett in 1882 in Texas. Family legend says that Mary Anne was a Frye. Her father was Peter Tombaugh and her mother's name was Mary Frances ?. Mary Frances was a Woods by marriage when she married Peter in January 1865 and already had a son, John Woods.
Does anyone know if they have a Mary Frances Frye born around 1835 in their family who could have been my relative?
BTW, Mary Anne & Martin's daughter Effie married John W. Frye around 1900.
Thanks
