MCARTHUR — Mrs. Porter O. Frye
Mrs. Leffie B. Frye, 60, wife of Porter O. Frye of McArthur, died Saturday at 1 pm in Hocking Valley Hospital, Logan, of a heart attack. Mrs. Frye was a surgical patient at the hospital.
Active in social and civic affairs, Mrs. Frye was a member of the McArthur Christian Church, the McArthur Garden Club, American Legion Auxiliary, Union Grange and Sereno Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
She was married to Mr. Frye 45 years ago.
Also surviving are her father William Graves of Allensville; daughter, Mrs. Robert Rannells of Gallipolis; three sons, Bruce with the state patrol at Wilmington, Robert with the FBI in Miami, Fla., and Glenneth of McArthur; a brother, Linza O. Graves of Chilicothe and four sisters, Mrs. Lilly Hysel of McArthur and Mrs. Ival Cecil, Miss Lucy Graves and Mrs. Grace Ziegler, all of Allensville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm at McArthur Christian Church, Rev. J. P, Daab will officiate and burial will be in Elks Cemetery under the direction of Wrightsel Funeral Home. The body remains at the funeral home.
