Is there anyone researching the following family ?
July 1860 Smyth Co., VA, fam 368, line 24
FRY, James (M.) 40 NC, cannot r/w
Jane 41 NC
Martha J., 16 NC
John 12 NC
SOLOMON J., 9 NC ( my primary line of interest )
Sarah 8 NC
Eliz., 6 NC
Geo. W., 3 VA
Alexander F. 1 month, VA
(note: I also have the census listings for 1850, 1870 and 1880)
Possibly, Sarah (age 8) married a COLE and had a son named James S. COLE (b. ca 1868).
By 1880 James and Jane FRY have listed in their household another son named Solomon b. ca 1873, and another daughter named Mary A., b. ca 1875.
I would appreciate any help and also want to pass along some info.
