I am looking for information on family members born in the early 1800's. I have a hard time finding the parents and correct full name of my Great-Great-Grandmother Lennie (or Linna) Elizabeth Frye (24 Feb 1829, Lincoln, North Carolina - 10 Mar 1876, Alexander, North Carolina). She married Lawson White (01 May 1824, Alexander, North Carolina - 18 May 1903), They were married in 1847. The two of them had six children according to the census'; Daniel Socrates White, Pauline Emaline White, Amy Minerva White, Martha Elizabeth White, Elon M. White, Greda E. White. After Lennie Elizabeth Died in 1876 Lawson White remarried a Harriet S. Fry (is she related to Lennie Elizabeth) in 1877. I have another Frye in my family tree, Melvina, who was born in 1806 in Burke County, North Carolina and died in 1870 also in Burke County. She married Paul Bowman, and they had 14 Children. How were they related? I love to not only to get the demographics, but stories, and photos if available. Thank you in advance. Will Millard.
