I am Not a Frye member. But I have an interest in one particular Frye and he was born in Lawrence Co. PA. (New Castle) so I did do some background lineage research on his Frye family too. I can send a photo of him if you wish?
His name was Raymond FRYE ...I am not certain of his birthdate but estimate it to be around 1905.
He would have been my half-uncle. His the information:
Raymond FRYE
Parents: Wallace Merl FRYE & Mary HAMMOND FRYE
Grandparents: Edward FRYE & Irene Ella/Ellen FRYE
(This Edward was born 1866 Mahoning Co. Ohio and
his wife,Irene Ella born 1865 Wheatland, Mercer
County, PA and they had these known children:
Wallace, Frank, Charles L., Daisy.and there
could have been others as I said, they are not
my lines...only Raymond was...half brother to
my mother.
*Note - My Grandmother was Mary HAMMOND FRYE ...she and Wallace married around 1903 but divorced 1911. Both remarried.
