Looking for a Mary J. Frye/Fry, found in 1860 McNairy Co., TN census with husband J.N. King, b. 1832, and 3 children:
William, Neal, and Joseph (Joseph Frye)King. Another child, Mary Ann, was born after the census in 1860. J.N. was dead by 1870, possibly in the War. The 2 oldest boys died young, Joesph Frye married Samantha Jennie Latham, Mary Ann married C. J. Holder. Mary J. died between 1910-1920, probably in Madison Co., TN.
I couldn't find this family in the 1870 census, but she is in the 1880, 1900, and 1910 for Chester and Madison Co., TN.
My husband is a descendant thru Joseph Frye and Samantha Jennie King's son James Columbus King.
