Hi Beth, I'm looking for Carrie BAXTER b. ca 1850 prob. Hamilton Co., IA. She married a FRYE and they moved to OR. She died in Eugene, OR. Carrie had a sister Mahala that is my direct line b. 1854 Hamilton Co., IA m. Daniel Taylor COLLINS. Mahala and Carrie's father was Harvey b. 5-13-1822, MO d. 7-30-1910, Diamond, Newton Co., MO. Their mother was Elizabeth b. 2-25-1830, MO d. 12-10-1915, Diamond, Newton Co., MO. I don't have any other information on this family. But I was wondering if your FRYE went to OR to live with Carrie and her family or maybe they all went together. I don't have any more information on her, what I have is what my mother-in-law could remember. Mahala was her grandmother. They didn't keep in touch very often with family members that left the area. Could we possibly have a connection? I sure hope so, these people are a mistery to me. Thanks for looking.
