Dear Wayne: I couldn't post to you off the board as you requested, because it says your email address is hidden. Anyway, my Harrell's are from the Bonifay, Florida and Tampa area, so I guess we're probably miles away from the Virginia Harrells, though not necessarily, if their relatives ended up in Georgia. I am researching my father's family at the moment-the Fryes-from North Carolina and South Caroilina. Also, I have found quite a bit on the Fergusons and Browns from Georgia-that is my grandmother's side of the family. I also was born in Georgia, but my husband-the Harrell-was born in Florida. I am new to genealogy and got interested in it as a result of my father's recent death. I never knew anything about his side of the family since my parents divorced when I was 2, and even though I visited him as a child, I wasn't all that interested in family history then. But now I have found it to be a wonderful pastime, and I have met the most wonderful people. Thank you for your reply and sorry there seems to be no common ground. Lonnette Harrell
