I am interested in finding any descendants of Andrew Fryatt. His wife Mary was a brother to my great grandfather William Cornthwaite. My grandmother corresponded with her Aunt Mary and I have a few pictures and some of that correspondence. Through that correspondence I have some of the descendants but not up to the present day.
According to obit of his son Oren, Andrew Jackson Fryatt and Joseph Chance established the planing mill and lumber business in Terre Haute, Vigo County IN. Jackson and Mary moved to Kansas before 1880. Have picture of Andrew in Uniform. Civil War? The obit of Oren Fryatt says his death (Oren's) was an accidental gunshot wound received when walking with his gun (rifle?) but angle of bullet entry hard to explain.
