Hello!
Just wondering if anyone out there has any information for me. This is what I know about my family.
My grandfather, Donald Fry, was in the air force and was stationed in Cold Lake, Alberta, where my uncle James Fry, and father Robert Fry were born. From there they lived in Germany for 4 years where my aunt Susan Fry was born. He was married to my grandmother, Hazel Fry(Langley). His parents(my great grandparents) were William and Lillian Fry(Mueller). She was from Toronto. I am aware of a second cousin I have in Thunder Bay that I think may be a doctor(my father knows more about this than I do). My great grandmother lived in Middleton, NS my entire life and passed away in 2001, she was 84. I am not sure if my great grandfather was an immigrant or not, but it is to my knowledge that he worked with trains. Also, my grandfather, Donald, passed away in the 1960s(around 1967 i think) as a result of a car accident. From there my grandmother Hazel(Langley) moved back to Port Hawkesbury, NS, where her family is from. Relatives in the Valley are great uncle Ed and Jean Fry(still in Middleton I believe) and great uncle Jack Fry who I think lives in Kingston, NS.
Any help would be great, especially if you think you are in relation to me from either the Fry, Mueller, OR Langley side! I am really interested in where my family originated from before they came to Canada.
