Hi David

I was looking at the Frush Genealogy Forum, I havn't been there in a long time and I ran across your msg. This Michael Frush is interesting, born in 1816 in Maryland. My 3rd Great Grandfather, John Frush was born in Maryland in 1794-97 he moved to Monongalia Co. Virgina and married his first wife Charily Jones in 1822 under the name Frush, she died and he remarried in the same co. to Elizabeth Ford in 1828, John married her under the name Frushour. He moved his family to Indiana in 1834 and used the name Frush the rest of his life. At the same time John showed up in Indiana two more men showed up in the same place. Jacob Frush, born in Maryland in 1805 and Elisa Frush Born in Maryland in 1815. There is a strong possiblity that all of these men are connected to your Michael, maybe even brothers or 1st cousins. I still have not found complete proof of John's Father but according to Johns son William Frush it appears that his name was George Frush, the Son of Johann George Froschauer Jr (he used the name George Frush)he was the son of Hans Geog Froschauer who came from Germany in 1730, family which had many boys used the names Froschauer, Freshour, Frushour, Frush, and even Frosh. These family spread out all over the United States. I have more information if you need it. If you find a connection before I do let me know.
Jim Frush
