Hey Kathy! It's Maureen - your cousin from Maryland. I don't know if you're even visiting this board anymore, but just in case you are - shoot me an email at [email protected] tried to send you an email from here, but apparently your email address isn't recognized. Just so's you know and for anyone else who has her as part of their family tree - my mom (Kathleen M. Frothingham) died in 1963 - not 1950 and it was brain cancer as a complication of breast cancer. She was married to Richard Darwin Dexter and had four children with him, Michael, Michelle, Margot (deceased,1/03, eerily enough, from brain cancer as a complication of breast cancer)and Maureen.
Have you found out anything on the Frothinghams?I've run into dead ends all over the place.
I did find out that my mom (Kathleen) was born in Attleboro, MA, but like all the information I have on her, this could be sketchy, as well.Your mom sent me my mom's death certificate, which I have around here somewhere in one of the boxes waiting to be unpacked.
I know nothing about my maternal grandparents (your paternal) - other than that our grandmother's name was Alice Lucie.Again - there's that sketchiness that goes on with our family - so can you confirm this for me?
I do know my dad has a ton of photographs that he's catalogued in albums (very organized man!) and he might have some that were my mom's - of her family and ancestors.I'll ask him - I'm supposed to go up there on Mother's day.
Hope all is well with you and all the other cousins.
Maureen
ps - for all others on this board, I apologize for the seemingly "newsy" post.I'm posting this inhopes that I can connect with my cousin and pick her brain a bit...
