Hello,
Someone got me looking at my RICE ancestors over the weekend, and the more
I look at the patriarch's family, and look on-line for more information, the
more confused I get. :o(
To start with, I'm told my RICE line is:
Edmund RICE and Thomasine FROST
Joseph RICE and Mary BEERS
Joseph RICE and Mercy KERLEY
Jesse RICE and Beulah (unknown)
Ashabel / Ashbel RICE and Percissa / Persis KNIGHT
Daniel V. RICE and Lucy McDANIEL / McDONALD
Charles W. RICE and Adelaide Crosby HUTCHINSON
And then from the HUTCHINSON's I believe I am descended from:
Edmund FROST and Thomasine CLENCH /E
Ephraim FROST and Hepzabah PRATT
Ephraim FROST and Sarah COOPER
Samuel FROST and Abigail CUTTER
Sarah FROST and John HUTCHINSON
Thomas HUTCHINSON and Elizabeth HOMER
Jacob Homer HUTCHINSON and Eliza CROSBY
Adelaide Crosby HUTCHINSON
IF I'm summarizing what I'm finding in on-line web sites correctly, the
wife of Edmund FROST was Thomasine, the daughter of Robert CLENCH and Joan
WEBBE.
And, the wife of Edmund RICE was Thomasine, the daughter of Edward FROST and
Thomasine BELGRAVE.

... It looks like I have to go back a few generations to see a connection
between Edmund FROST and Edward FROST. Or, I will check the archives of
this List and the Board, and the Board at www.genforum.com
to see if it has already been discussed.
