I have just recently found one connection between Aaron (Phoebe Primm) Frost and my John (Margaret Mitchell) Frost. All residing in the 1850 Athens county OH census , the 1857 Cedar, Van Buren county Iowa State census and the 1870 Chariton county MO and Macon co MO census. It is through Aaron and Phoebe’s granddaughter, Melissa J Border, born about 1857 in Van Buren co Iowa and the son of John and Margaret Frost, John Henry Frost, born 1856 Cedar Iowa State census... John H and Melissa were married on 3 August 1876 in Chariton co MO. Melissa’s mother was Eunice A Frost who married Peter Border. Eunice A was the daughter of Aaron and Phoebe Frost. John Henry Frost and Melissa J Border had the following children: Marion Oscar Frost, b in Chariton co and died at age seven in Ottawa Franklin co KS of “abscess of left lung”. This child was buried at Hope Cemetery in Ottawa Ks. William Shirley Frost, born in MO. He is known as Shirley William Frost in several census records and his WWI registration record. Then there was George Ernest Frost. Which is interesting because his grandmother, Margaret Mitchell Frost married in 1870 Adair co MO a Mr. George Ernest. They are all found in the 1885 Ottawa, Franklin co KS state census. Melissa died sometime before 1904 because that is when her husband John H is married to Mrs. Eva F Cunningham and residing in Oklahoma. He and Eva had one son named Henry. I believe he and Eva divorced because he is found later, married to Mrs. Mary Simmons and living in OK 1920.
I still believe there is an earlier connection regarding Aaron and John Frost because of the similarities in migration patterns, given names of their children. If you have any information on any of these people I would love to hear from you.
