Mary,
I am researching a family named Throneburg who appeared in Lincoln county about 1819. Many of the records of Lincoln County confuse the name Thronebarger(Throneburg) and Fronebarger. Because of this I have studied both families and know the Fronebargers lived in southern Lincoln County which is now Gaston County(Throneburgs lived in Catawba County near Catawba River). TheFronebargers lived along Long Creek(Big Long Creek) towards the mouth of the Creek. I have found the Fronebargers referenced in Lutheran Church records of Rev. David Henkel...specifically St. Paul Church of Gaston County . This is a possibility for the burial of John Fronebarger and William Fronabarger. There is also a Fronebarger cemetery in North Carolina. I think you can find this through the Gaston County North Carolina Genweb site on rootsweb.
