I am looking for information about John Froese Fast born 1878 possibly in Halstead KS, died in Beaver Cty OK. Possible mother's name of Marie Regier, born 1856 in Harvey Cty KS, possible father's name of John Fast, born 1852 in Halstead KS.
I'm hoping that Froese is a family name and will lead me back to his ancestors in the East. The family story, which may have no truth to it, is that his father, his father's brothers and his grandparents immigrated to America and all settled "back East". Then John Fast had a falling out with his family and eventually moved to Oklahoma.
John Froese Fast's son, my father, was named Norbert. Other sibling names are Otto, Karl, Lucille, Paul, and Marvin.
