Hi everyone,
I'm looking for information on the ancestors of John Laurence Fritz, my g-grandfather. He was said to have been born in Carrol County, Maryland in the late 1880's or early 1890's (birthdate unknown). His father's name is unknown, but his mother's name was Kate M. Fritz (I believe her maiden name was Cook/Kooke). He also had one known brother named Clyde Fritz. He married twice, the second of which was my g-grandmother, Blanche E. Gallagher Fritz, from Adams County, PA. They were probably married around 1918-1919 (my Grandma, the oldest of their 3 children, was born in 1920, and the youngest child of his 1st marriage was about 2 years older than her). Where the marriage took place is unknown.
My g-grandparents lived in Illinois for a while (my Grandma was born there), and during or after the Depression they moved south to Hope, Arkansas, where they lived for several years, and then to Lafayette, Louisiana, where they lived the remainder of their lives.
