T. Marguerite (Kingrea) Fritz, 89, of Hopkinton, and Sebring, Fla., passed away peacefully Friday, May 7, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John Fritz; her two daughters and their families, Karen and Stephen Franks of Hopkinton, and Sharon and Richard Batten of Boylston. She was the dearly loved grandmother of six; and great-grandmother of 16. Born one of eight children in Beeville, Texas, she is survived in Texas by her sister, Alice Odle, of Midland, and brother, Thomas Kingrea, of West Columbia. Marguerite Fritz will be remembered for her lifelong devotion to her family and home. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at the Chapel of the First Congregational Church of Hopkinton on Friday, May 21, at 11 a.m., followed by a reception at her Hopkinton home. Those who wish to honor her may make a contribution in lieu of flowers to the Good Shepherd Hospice, by calling 863-297-1880, or making a donation online at www.goodshepherdhospice. org. Arrangements are from the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton.
