My ggg-grandfather was John Fritz, b. 1800, d. 1879. He married Maria Urslua Block b. 1810 France, d. 1871 in Pittsburg, PA (Allegheny Co.). They are burried at St. Anthony cemetery, Dubois County, Indiana. They had 8 children, Maria, Johannes, Francesca, Franz, Joseph, George, Moritz (Maurice), and Susanna.

Could John be related to your gmother?

I have more information on their children and cemetery photos.
