Carl Fritz immigrated from Germany in 1883. He was born July 29,1873 and
died March 8, 1920 in Bartonville, Illinois. He was married to Mrs. Fannie
Kaufman about 1907. They lived in the Larned area of Kansas and in
Bloomington, Illinois. Carl was a carpenter. They had the following
children: Clyde, Burton, Marguerite, and Leonard who lived in the Soldier's
and Sailor's Orphan's Home in Bloomington after Carl's death.
I have information from the 1900 census that has Carl living with his
sister, Mary Fritz Horning, and her husband, Robert Alfred Horning in
Alleghany County, Pennsylvania. It states that they all immigrated to the
U.S. in 1883.
