Here's what I have on William M. and Martha Ann McCormick. We don't have a confirmed birth date, only @1830. It is possible he died in 1905 in Harden Co., IL. William was married to Martha on 29 March 1847, in Roane Co., TN by John B. Waller, JP. Martha Ann ws born about 1832 in TN, the daughter of Samuel McCormick. He had 7 daughters and 3 of them married Fritts men. He himself moved to Crittenden Co., KY before 1850. We could not locate William M. and Martha Ann in 1850 census. In 1860 census he was a farmer with 4 children living in Crittenden Co., KY. Sometime after 1860 they moved to IL. They had 5 children we know of at this time (in 1979). This information is out of my Fritts book: "The Fritts (Fritz) Family Heritage" Vol. 1, 1979 by Gregory A & Patricia A. Fritts.
William and Martha's children were:
James M. (b. 8/14/1848, pos. in TN; d. 8/12/1851 at age 2y-11m-28d and was buried at Crooked Creek Cemetery, near Marion, Crittenden Co., KY)
Parmelia A. (b. @ 1852 in KY)
Henry P. (b. @ 1854 in KY)
Henry E. (b. @ 1832; d. 3/9/1899; m.(1)Nancy M. Wilborn;(2)Emily A Moore)
Phillip M. (b. 2/13/1833; d. 7/20/1896; m. (1)Permecia M. Wilson;(2)Martha Jane Conger)
Preston H. (b.5/6/1836; d. 9/1/1910; m.(1)Sarah C. Butler;(2)Melvina Ford.
Elizabeth "Betsy" J. (b.6/11/1838; d.6/5/1889; m. Robert Clay Carrick, Sr.(b.6/12/1840 in KY) on 2/16/1865 in Crittenden Co., KY)
Christopher Columbus (b.9/4/1840; d.1/26/1895; m. Sarah Elizabeth Belt.)
Mary A. (b. @1842; d. aft-1880; never married)
Robert C. (b.10/18/1844/45; d. 6/28/1926; m. Jasper Sephines Safiner Gregory)
Parmelia Jane (b. Jan 1845/47; d. 1928; m. Henry Enock Stone, Sr. on 9/7/1884)

I think your line is probably Henry P.'s: I have a little more about them if you would like it....let me know. I'd love to compare our information.
