WRONG. The Laura FRITTS in the 1910 Loudon County TN census with daughter Lena (and other children) is NOT Laura Peters (daughter of Thomas J. & Sharlltey Peters). I found Laura and her children in the 1900 Census, living in the 10th Civil District of Loudon County, Tennessee, Enumeration District 104, Sheet #11. Laura is listed with her parents, Martin J. FRITTS(b. Aug 1842) & Matilda (b. Nov 1844. Laura FRITTS is listed as "daughter" (b. Feb. 1876). She is listed as "Divorced" and has the three oldest children from the 1910 census listed with her in the 1900 census. They are: Dixie (b. Nov 1892), Frank (b. March 1896), Lena (b. July 1898). It lists Dixie's father as born in Missouri and Frank & Lena are both listed with father born in Tennessee. Going back to the 1880 census, Enumberation District 220, page 5, 10th District of Loudon County TN, Dwelling 37, Family 38, you find FRITTS, Martin (38), Tillie A. (33), Mary V. (8), Philip J. (6), Laura E. (5). In that same 1880 census, in Morgan County TN (E.D.131, page 13), I found PETERS, Thomas J., Sharllty, Laura (5), William R., Chrly A. IF Laura Peters (who was about the same age of Laura FRITTS) married a James Fritts, that is an interesting coincidence. But Laura PETERS is not the mother of Dixie, Frank, Lena & Hattie. Laura FRITTS (daughter of Martin & Matilda 'Tillie' FRITTS) is their mother. Martin FRITTS is listed in the 1850 Roane County TN census as Martin J. (age 8) with parents Henry (37, b in TN) & Mary A. (44, b. in VA). They were in Dwelling 830, listed as Family #874.
