Krystal:

There is no direct relationship that I know of. However when the famiy came from Burg, Prussia in 1858 there were three young boys with a fourth born in St. Louis. Two of the lines no longer exist in any form. One line is down to myself and another male. The fourth was a Charles Edward Fritsche who married a Louise Hocker. They had 13 children. This line is pretty complete for the 13 children, but their off spring and subsequent generations is spotty. If you can provide more details of your biological dad and his parents maybe I can find some data for you.

I do have data on other Fritsches in Saint Louis as I tried to figure out my family. So with more data from you maybe I can fit it into another family.

As you said the name is not exactly a common surname.

Best of luck in your search and I look forward to hearing from you.

John Fritsche in Santa Barbara, CA
