FRITH Ancestry and DNA
I have recently taken the new Family Finder (FF) DNA test, which would match me with a cousin from ANY of my ancestors. This test is from Family Tree DNA (FTDNA), and you can learn more about it at:
https://www.familytreedna.com/faq/answers/default.aspx?faqid=17
The FF test has provided 89 matches so far, and working with them has resulted in 10 new confirmed cousins (from 3rd to 10th), so far, with DNA that passes through 28 of my surnames.
This has been a difficult line for me; DNA may help us both.
My Ancestry includes:
3390, FRITH, Nathanial
1695, FRITH, Joan Wd 8 Jan 1703 Richmond Co, VA
If any man or woman who descends from one of the above persons took the Family Finder DNA test, you would probably match with me, and we would both then be able to confirm our ancestry (through matching DNA) from ourselves back to the ancestor we have in common.
In addition, I would be very interested if anyone already has Y-DNA or mtDNA tested for this family.
This is an opportunity for both of us to confirm our lineage with matching DNA.
I hope to hear from some interested cousins,
