Hi Lisa, Thanks for the answer. Please get those old papers out. I have a few also. Boy! do I.
I know nothing about this woman, except what my grandmother told me. Matilda (Clothilda) came from Alsace-Lorrain. Sometimes she was Matilda and sometimes she was Clothilda.
My mother's middle name is Clothilda after her. No one is still sure of the correct name.

Seems this family and the Kimmeth family were very closed mouthed about everything. I don't know what they had to hide. Been looking for a long time.
