I feel as if I should address this message to “Cousin James.” Annie is your g-grandmother and Roscoe Fritch is my g-grandfather – this makes us third cousins. Now with this rather unorthodox beginning, I am writing to request your assistance. I have hit a huge wall in researching my Fritch line. My grandfather (Roy Earling Fritch, son of Roscoe) is nearly completely deaf at 87 and it is difficult to get information or answers regarding the family. Any information you may have to offer (dates, places, names!) would be so very appreciated.
Also, you mention that you have photos of the family. Is there any way that I could obtain a copy? An electronic copy would probably be easiest (e.g., an emailed photo), but if that is not possible, I am more than willing to pay whatever it takes to obtain a copy of the picture (developing, postage, your time).
Thank you for any information and assistance you may offer,
