Thanks Dave. You have a wonderful site. Well done! In the SC Room of the main branch of the Charleston Co. Library is a file of cards called "dead cards". An individual card is filed for each person alphabetically by surname. My GGF was William Fripp Prentiss, sone of William Otis Prentiss, son of Jefferey Otis Prentiss, son of James Otis Prentiss. Because of the above Fripp middle name and because I keep finding Fripp headstones in many of the local cemeteries, I recorded Fripp cards from this file. Fripp, 28, d at 57 Tradd St. 12-4-1878, buried at Magnolia Cem., Chas., SC Rebecca (infant) Fripp, stillborn, residence 175 Queen, d 12-24-1897, buried Magnolia Cem., Chas., SC Sarah W.
