Abraham von Riesen/1756/Margaretha Wiebe

Apparently, our ancestors were far too busy ploughing rocks and having children to spend any time thinking of names for new children, or to stray very far from the homestead to seek spouses with different surnames!!
Seriously, I'm seeking information re: ancestors of Abraham von Riesen and Margaretha Wiebe....Abraham(b)Sept,28, 1756, in Prussia, (d)March, 1810, in Russia...married to Margaretha Wiebe, (b)1754, (d)1810..Does von Riesen mean "from Riesen"?
