FRIESEN, ANN_On Sunday February 13, 2005 our beloved mother passed away at Regina General Hospital at 92 years of age. Ann was born in Gretna Manitoba on the 20th of August 1912. She married Cornelius (Con) on the 3rd of July 1932, their marriage was blessed with one daughter and four sons. The family resided in Plum Coulee Manitoba. Con served in the RCAF from 1940 to 1945 after which they moved to Yorkton, Saskatchewan and then to Regina where she resided for the past 37 years. Mom dedicated her life to her family. Her love was unconditional. She was an accomplished seamstress, homemaker and friend to all. She loved traveling and did so extensively after Dad's passing. Her zest for life, her courage and faith in God, her beautiful smile, her kindness to all will live with us forever. She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters Mary, Helen and Kay, her beloved husband Con and her son in law Larry Thomas. Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her daughter, Joyce Thomas of Regina; Sons Laurie (Margaret) Friesen of Ottawa, Wayne (Genevieve) Friesen of Mississauga, James (Lois) Friesen of Regina, Dennis (June) Friesen of Innisfil Ontario. She will also be deeply missed by her cherished grandchildren Lanny, Mark, Dean, Karen, Diana, Tobi, Lisa, Marilyn, Susan, Maureen, Jill, Jeffrey, Tracy, Jodie and Angie, their spouses and families. She is also survived by her sister Sadie Stirbisky, many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff of Regina Lutheran Home and also to Pastor Dennis and Pastor Jeff for their kindness and spiritual support. Also many thanks to the nursing staff of 5F General Hospital. Funeral service will be held at Central Lutheran Church, 12th Avenue and Angus Street Regina on Wednesday February 16, 2005 at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Jeff Tank officiating. Internment to follow in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery. Flowers most gratefully declined. Friends so wishing may make donations to Regina Lutheran Home, 1925 5th Avenue North, Regina, SK
