Hi Rose: Could your Susan have been Susanna born 07 December 1893? Daughter of Gerhard S. Friesen and Henrietta Koehler? Married on 12 December 1916, Swalwell, Alberta to David Barkman FRIESEN. David was born 23 October 1892 in Manitoba Canada. Susanna was born in Cavalier County North Dakota. If this sounds right write to me direct as this is my Aunt and I have all her and David's descendants The death date you have matches perfectly and David's death was 15 July 1968 in Edmonton.
