No one has ever identified the parents of these two. When someone finally does, it will be major news because approximately 20% of the Low German Mennonites in North America are descended from this couple, myself included. When I retire, I want to work on the search. They will be found, eventually, in some land transfer or probate record in one of the archives in Poland. My friend Alan Peters, who indexed the 1835 Molotschna Census, believes he may have identified a sibling of Abraham von Riesen in a Prussian church record.
