I am looking for information on the following family members. The information below is taken from a family history book on the Peter D. Hiebert family.
My Grandmother was Katharina Friesen - she married Peter D. Hiebert on 7 Nov. 1878 in Russia - They came to America in 1903.
Katharina's parents were Isbrand and Katharia Esau.
Isbrand Friesen and Katharina Esau Friesen
Their children were:
Henry Friesen
David Friesen
John Friesen
Isbrand Friesen
Katharina Friesen born 22 Feb. 1856 in Russia and died 10 Oct. 1921 in Hillsboro Kansas. She married Peter D. Hiebert
Liese Friesen Liese died as a young bride at the age of 20.
David and his bamily were went to Siberia and have never been heard of since. They probably perished there.
Isbrand Friesen came to America in 1860 but the tall Kansas prairieland did not appeal to him so he moved his family to Canada. At that time only Indian huts dotted the area where Winnipeg now stands.
