I am sure we can help these other. I was told that John Fries came from Darmstadt, Bavaria, Germany in the spring of 1836. I have no verification of this so far. I, also, have a copy of his citizenship papers. Please write. I think I wrote to you once before; but, prehaps, you didn't get my email. Carol
