I am trying to find information on my Fries ancestors
from Bavaria Germany. I'm not sure when they came
to the USA or through which US port they entered.
The only information I have follows:

George Michael Friese 1/26/1823 - 4/27/1896
(Bavaria Germany)
+WIFE - Not known
+CHILD - Freida (Bavaria Germany)
*Freida married a Mr. Stein from Germany

Adam P Friese 12/28/1828-1875 (Bavaria Germany)
+WIFE Theresa (Bavaria Germany)
+CHILDREN - (State of Georgia, USA)
George Annon Friese
Dollie Friese
John Adam Fries(e was dropped from spelling)

Anna Catherine Friese 11/25/1829 - 6/10/1907
(Salzbach, Bavaria Germany)
+HUSBAND - Mr. Getzinger (Germany)

Adam P Friese came to the USA on a ship with the
Pheiffers and Getzingers. It is told that he slipped
into the USA on a ship concealed in a flour barrel.
His wife Theresa died in Germany and her body was
shipped to the USA for burial. Her body is buried
along side Adam in a family grave yard in Bay Branch,
Georgia.

Any information regarding this family will be
very much appreicated. Hopefully there will be a
connection to your John Fries.

I would love to know where my ancestors initially
settled in the USA and any thing I can find out about
them.

Thank you. Good luck with your search.

Jessie Taylor
