Looking for Barnett Freis (spelled Fries in 1910 census). Probably immigrated through NYC in 1870s and moved to Philadelphia mid 1880's (by 1887). Married to Dora Asher (Asch) and children are Samuel, Louis, Philip & Anna. I'm trying to locate him on 1880 census or passenger list but with no results. 1910 census claims he immigrated in 1876 but this may not be right. Married in US, born approx. 1861 (also not sure of this birth year). The family is Jewish, and Barnett probably came from Germany, although he was probably born in Russia. Help, please! Thanks - he is my great-great-grandfather.
