There seems to be some confusion if there are 2 John Friersons of that era. The John Frierson of the will was in St. Marks Parish which is now Clarendon County, SC. Pudding Swamp is in Clarendon County. In my records and research he was living in the Pudding Swamp area. He had 1400 acres which was a sizeable place.
