6. Per Taylor family notes , James Michael May Taylor was born and raised Catholic.Both parents and two sisters are buried in a Catholic Cemetery in Lousiville, KY.

Aug. 13, 1823: Louisville Register of Deaths – Aug. 9, 1823, Joseph Taylor, born Scotland, bilious fever, 33 yrs.
Jan. 5, 1828: “Joseph Taylor has taken his son into the partnership of Taylor & Son in the grocery business.”
The look-up volunteer said that the “woods are full” of Taylor’s in Jefferson Co. KY.
Questions:
1. Was the father Of Joseph Michael, Irish rather than English.As it was not popular in the 1880’s to be Catholic or Irish?
2.Look at naming patterns ie., 1st son after grandfather, second son maternal grandfather, etc?Hester name comes from Frierson side as does Julia.
3. Note middle names May follows to the son of JM Taylor.
4. Is there a Mrs. Taylor in Jefferson Co.born in VA. Of the 1850 Census ?
