I think that "Joshua" was a mistake. Nothing that I have ever come across used the name. There are church records, legal land records, but none list anything but Henderson. There is a payroll listing for a militia detachment during the war of 1812 that lists him as "Henderson" I think if there were anywhere that he would have to use a first name, it would be there. This is on file at the Georgia Archives.


His sister, Elizabeth, never married.

Could the "Ambrose Frier, age 32, be Arron, born Dec 12, 1817? Arron would be the right age to fit into the 1850 census bracket.
