My Great Grandfather was Robert Heinrich Friedrich. I know that his family was originally from Germany, but I do not know which town as of yet. Robert Heinrich Friedrich lived in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England where my grandfather William Bernard Friedrich was born September 3, 1910. Robert Heinrich Friedrich married Anne Kelsey from Scotland and had four children, Hilda, William, Margaret and a child that died soon after birth also taking Anne's life. Robert Heinrich Friedrich emigrated to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with his family, and eventually to Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Detroit, Michigan. I am still working on the family lineage in Europe. I was there this past June, but didn't spend much time researching genealogy. I visited 9 countries in two weeks along with my mother, William Friedrich's daughter Anne, and my Aunt, William Friedrich's daughter Shirley and her daughter Maribeth.
