PHil Friedrichs born 5(4?) July 1932 in Missouri, moed to Houston, Texas, graduated from the US Naval Academy Class of 1954, Retired form the Marine Corps 1 January 1975, and returned to Houston, Texas where he and his parents had moved after his birth. Married to Joan; children Karen, Kim, and David. Disappeared in summer from home in Houston, in 1976; declared dead 7 years later on 21 November 1983. Wife Joan worked for IBM. I have written a history of the graduates of the Naval Academy, Annapolis, Class of 1954 who were commissioned Marine Officers. I have lost contact with Phil's wife. Need to contact wife or children, or any other next of kin for more information. Also, can possibly provide some information to children. LtCol. Ed Tipshus USMC(Ret)
