My grandfather was Peter Friedrich b.07/20/1868 in Havana, Il. Peters parents were Georg Philipp Friedrich b.11/12/1835 in Unterleinleiter, Oberfranken, Bavaria. He married Margareta Scheuering 06/28/1863 in Unterleinleiter, Oberfranken,Bavaria.Margareta b.06/14/1834 same place as Georg. She d.03/25/1906. Georg Philipp Friedrich d.05/09/1901.Both are buried in Quiver Township, Mason County, Il-Quiver Cemetery located on the Manito, Il blacktop road.
The Lutheran Church records at Unterleinleiter record Georg's birth and marriage to Margareta. Like his father, Georg was a brickmason(Maurer).
They arrived at Havana, Il 09/18/1865 with 15 month old Barbara and a very pregnant Margareta (she would give birth to Anna 29 days later). They had 6 children. Last child born, not named, died in childhood.
