Looking for the descendants of Wilhelm (William) Friedrich and Alice Andre'. William sailed from Hamburg, Germany on the ship "Pauli" and arrived at the port of Galveston on the 4 July, 1847. He was entitled to his 320 acres from the German Emigration Company and at the time of his death he owned over 2500 acres of land in Texas. He was naturalized on May 8, 1850 and listed as coming from Darmstadt. He married Alice Andre' 18 Feb 1860. They had two daughters: Alice Louise Friedrich and Charlotte Mathilde Friedrich. William died 23 December 1868. His wife moved to New Orleans. She married a M.L. Block. Alice Louise Friedrich married Harry Brown. Known children are Reuben Brown, Fanny Alice Brown and Beulah Charlotte Brown. Would like to share information with any descendants of Alice or Charlotte Matilde.
