The following is an obit for my ggg-grandfather and what we know of his three sons. Please contact me if you tie into this family or have more info on them. Thanks.
Father Wilhelm Friedrich was born April 7, 1822 in Carzig county Soldin Preussen and died Oct. 2, 1900 in Fond du Lac, Wis. He married in 1850 his now mourning Widow, Mathilde Keiding (Kading). The family came to America in 1869 and settled near Red Wing, Minn.
1873 He and his Family came to Fond du Lac Wis. Were he lived until his death. Father Friedrich reformed under the guidance of Br. H.E. Bowman and Jakob von Eschen and joined the Evangelical Congregation and was a true member until his death. In the last years he suffered much, but carried his illness with patience. His wish was to die and join his God.
The funeral services were conducted by Br. C.F. Reichert and the undersigned. He is survived by his mourning widow, one sister, three sons, sixteen Grand- children and many friends and acquaintances with whom his memories will live on.
