Looking for origin and family of Adam Friedrich who arrived at NYC in 1891 from Germany.
Wife was Friedricke 'Frieda' Maeir/Meyer and they had Albert, Henry, Joseph and Helen. In 1900, the family lived on East 1st Street, NYC and later on East 14th Street.
In 1900 Adam's occupation was listed as 'iron worker'. I believe he died in Jan 1905.
One factor compounding my search is the many and various spellings of their surname FRIEDRICH on official documents - Fredrick, Fredricks, Frederich, etc.
