Hi John,
Yes, it's a long shot, but wouldn't it be great if we made the connection? The dates are right. Is Walpenreuth anywhere near Zell, Upper Franconia? They're both in Bavaria. Zell is where the sister of Andrew's wife, Catherine Klauminzer, was born. My Andrew Friedrich was born in 1827 and died in 1908. I don't know where either of those events took place. Do you have birth or death locations?
