Descendants of Konrad and Elizabeth (Schadel) Friedrich
1. Konrad Friedrich married Elizabeth Schadel and had four Children. They
lived in Walpenreuth, Bavaria, Germany
Children of Konrad and Elizabeth (Schadel) Friedrich
i. Erhardt Friedrich , b. May 22nd 1874 d. August, 16th 1946 died in Clinton
Massachusetts.
ii. Elizabeth Friedrich died in Newark New Jersey
iii. Andrew Friedrich died in Nuremberg Germany
iv. Margaret Friedrich died in Germany
2. Erhardt Friedrich born in 1874 in Walpenreuth, Bavaria, Germany he came
to America in the late 1890’s. He Married Margaret Schoener II on October,
22nd 1898 In Clinton, Mass. Margaret worked has a Weaver and so did Erhardt
(that’s probably how they met) she was born in 1880. Erhardt and Margaret
lived at 20 Spruce Street Clinton MA. Erhardt became a Citizen of the United
States on Saturday October 28th 1905 and that same day he registered to
vote . Erhardt and Margaret had one child Andrew James Friedrich. Born
on July 9th 1909. Margaret Schoerner was Born in Sparneck, Bavaria, Germany
and came to this country in 1888 and settle in Clinton, Ma, Erhardt, Margaret
and Andrew moved to 376 Water Street at some point. Erhardt worked the "AMORY
MILLS" on Green Street In Clinton. Erhardt’s Nick name was "Mike" he got this
nick because his Irish Immigrant co-workers couldn’t pronounce his name so
they called him Mike. Erhardt was a member of the Clinton Turner Verein society.
In 1920 Margaret died 1923 Erhardt called his brother Andrew in Germany
and ask him to find him a wife he found Barbetta a Farmers daughter. Erhardt
married Barbetta Fenzel (daughter of George and Barbetta Fenzel) on December
18th 1923 at Ellis Island in the County of New York, in the State of New
York. she already had one child Anna Gertrude Fenzel she was an illegitimate
child Barbara came from "Reichenswand Bel Hersbrucke, Bavaria" She left
on a Ship from Hamburg Germany to USA, with Gertrude in 1923 Erhardt paid
for the trip. On March 20th 1925 Erhardt Adopted Gertrude after he married
Barbara; Gertrude name was legally changed to "Anna Gertrude Friedrich" but
everyone still called her Gertrude. Gertrude’s birth Father is Unknown and
will remain forever as such. On March 29th 1938 Barbetta Friedrich Became
a Citizen of the United States . On August 16th 1946 Erhardt Friedrich died.
Barbara (Fenzel) Friedrich was Born July 22, 1881 lived at 376 Water Street
Clinton MA then moved to the Clinton housing project Apt. 20, 367 Water
Street, Clinton Massachusetts until her death in December 3rd 1975 of Uremia
due to arterio Scherosis and arterio sclerotic heart disease she was 94 years
old. Erhardt and both of his wives were member of the German Congregational
Church of Clinton Mass. note: Barbara Friedrich is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery
in Clinton, MA. In the same plot as Erhardt and Margaret though her name
is not on the stone.
i. Erhardt Friedrich’s hobby was German brewer he made beer, wine and whiskey mainly for himself in the basement and back yard of his home in Clinton Massachusetts. Some of this liquor still exists to this very day. 2002.
3. Elizabeth Friedrich from Walpenreuth, Bavaria, Germany came to America.
Elizabeth Came to the US on the Ship "The George Washington" out of Bremen
and married Julius Doerfler they lived in Newark, NJ. .Julius and Elizabeth
had one girl. When Anna Gertrude Friedrich left Clinton Mass she moved in
with Elizabeth; in New Jersey this was before Gertrude met Carl . So that
would mean that some one in NJ might still have some information concerning
the Friedrich, Doerfler and Haupt connection. This information came from
William Stoebel he spent week in NJ with the Doerfler family when he was
a child and Gertrude was there . around 1930’s No other information. But its
better than nothing. Elizabeth’s married last name is a confirmed fact.
4. Andrew Friedrich from Walpenreuth, Bavaria, Germany ,stayed in Germany
he married Margaret maiden name unknown. They did have two children: Karl
and Anni.
Andrew Friedrich moved from Walpenreuth to " four Baldur Strasse Nuremberg Germany
5 Margaret Friedrich from Walpenreuth, Bavaria, Germany ,stayed in Germany. No other information

i. Andrew James Friedrich born in Clinton, Mass. USA 1909 & died 1973
1. Andrew James Friedrich attended the "Bowers School in Clinton Massachusetts
1st through 4th Grade he was there from 1915-1919. He quit school when his
mother Margaret died in 1920 and went to work. Andrew James Friedrich married
Anna Travers at Saint John’s Rectory in Clinton, Mass in 1931 they had two
children Andrew John Francis Friedrich b August 13th 1933, and still alive,
and Ann Elizabeth Friedrich b. Feb 13,1938, d. April,1986. Anna Elizabeth
Travers born 1904 Andrew James Friedrich b. 7/7/1909, d. 6/9/1973. Anna E.
(Travers) Friedrich was the president of the President of Kinnear Insurance
Agency of Clinton She was also a member of St. John’s Church, past president
of the Clinton Women’s Club, past president of the Clinton Emblem Club, the
chairman of the Community Concerts from 1947 to 1951, past president of the
Turner Ladies society, and a member of Clinton Rotary Anns. She was born
in Clinton and attended Local Schools and graduated from Clinton High School
then she went to Becker’s Business College in Worcester Massachusetts the
class of 1925. She was a very active member of the Clinton Community Chest
drives. Anna died on . July 24 1974 of a Cerebral Hemorrhage.

i. Anna Gertrude Friedrich b. in Reichenswand Bel Hersbrucke, Bavaria
29 Jun 1913 d. April 14th 1994 in NJ.
1. Anna Gertrude Friedrich married Carl Haupt they had three Children "George,
Eleanor, and Richard they lived in Springfield in Union County and then
moved to Berkeley Heights, Union County , NJ. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Haupt died
in Springfield, Union, NJ Carl Died Feb 1981. (SSDI) No other information.

Herbert and Inga .
2. Anni Friedrich married a fellow named "Schuman" first name unknown. They
had no Children Mr.
Schuman died in World war II. Anni Schuman is still living as of

1. Andrew John Francis Friedrich married Maureen Katharine O’Sullivan in
October 27 1962. Andrew and Maureen had eight Children, Andrew John Friedrich III, Michael Joseph,
Daniel Christopher, Mary Katharine, Peter David, John Erhardt, Thomas James, and David Patrick. All Still living
2. Ann Elizabeth Friedrich married Donald Leo Grebner and they had two Children Donald Leo II and Dawn Michelle both Still living Donald Leo Grebner was born in 10/25/1936 (the son of Leo and Mary Grebner) in Elizabeth New Jersey. Donald was a doctor and Ann was a nurse
Donald L. Grebner (Father) died in New Brunswick NJ. On March 2nd 1969 and is buried at St.
John’s Cemetery in Lancaster Massachusetts. Ann Elizabeth Friedrich was born in Feb 13, 1938 and
died in April, 1986 of Cancer. and is buried at St. John’s Cemetery in Lancaster Massachusetts.
