Karl, I have from one of my sources that according to the Somerset Whig newspaper of July 8, 1819 under marriages it states that "On Saturday the 4th inst. by the same, Mr. David Shallis, to Miss Polly Switzer, both of Somerset township". I have not been able to confirm this. I have contacted the Somerset Historical Society and they do not have any issues of the Somerset Whig. I have also checked the microfilm from the LDS Family History Library and they do not have the July 8, 1819 issue. Do you have any source showing that Ann Marie Friedline was born to Johann Ludwig Friedline and Anna Maria Lichtenberger on March 26, 1794?
