I had long thought my ancestors were from Germany, but am now wondering. I just obtained some baptismal records from the parish book of Birmansdorf-Gebensdorf, district Baden. I find my Great-Grandmother was born and baptised in Oberhof. All of the other cities named in these records (hers and her brothers Emil and Julius) are now in Switzerland. I am now trying to figure out how to get more information about the town, church or family. There was a link for the town mayor, but it seemed to not work. Any help?

I am researching the Gersbachs - Louisa (my Great-Grandmother and her parents Salomon and Theresia Bercher. Louisa and Salomon eventual settled in St Louis.

Thanks Much,
Barbara
