It is not unusual for children to be born before the parents marry around the 1850s.
The family of the Fricker sisters who married the poets is well documented and I am afraid that George is the only son. The following info, except where indicated, comes from the book 'The Passionate Sisterhood' by Kathleen Jones George was born in 1784 and baptised 2 June 1784 at St James, Bath.(IGI), he died 1813 in Keswick. I do not have any info on his marital status or children. Mary (b 1771) married Robert Lovell, Sarah (b 10 Sep 1770) married Coleridge, and Edith (b 1774)married Robert Southey.
As your family story says Henry's aunts are the above named and one is casual about naming aunts accurately I would suggest that Mary, Sarah and Edith were great-aunts. This would fit in with the fact that George died too soon to be Henry's father. to be cont'd
