Hi Thomas,
As I am doing a one-name study of Fricker I should like to take you up on your kind offer of supplying the descendants of John Fricker and Elizabeth Millett.I also have their marriage.
I have some details of people in Frome before 1835 who could be of interest to you but I do not know if they are connected to John and Elizabeth.
They are:
a) Matilda and Charlotte Fricker daughters of John, a patry cook.Matilda and Charlotte (one 4 years of age the other 6) died in an arson attack on their home in Frome 10/12/1823. (from Keene's Bath Journal 15/12/1825 - can be read at Newspaper Library, Colindale).
b) Benjamin Fricker born about 1805 died 1871 in Frome, volume 5c, page 367 (Family Records Centre Index)
c) Emma Sophia Fricker, unmarried, died 1902, Bath (admins to Mary Jane Wilkins and John William Fricker from 1st Avenue House, Holborn). There was also a person of the same name born 1839 in Frome (FRC).
d) William Fricker died March quarter 1851 Frome (FRC)
e) John Fricker died September quarter 1851 Frome (FRC)
f) Jonathan Fricker died June quarter 1853 Frome (FRC)
g) Catherine Fricker died March quarter 1852 volume 5c page 412 (FRC)
h) Philip ffricker lived in Frome 1739, occuaption constable. He was mentioned in Gaol Book for Western Circuit concerning the apprehension of a criminal. (PRO ASSI 23/6 (Taunton?).
I hope this is of some help to you.I also have FRC details for a number of Frickers after 1835 which I can let you have if it is of interest to you.
Best wishes,
Elizabeth
